# SQR B2B API Documentation

This documentation provides a comprehensive guide to SQR’s Business-to-Business (B2B) API service.

These APIs are designed to offer a secure and efficient way to integrate SQR’s digital identity technology into your organisation’s business processes and technology ecosystem.

At the core of the service are two powerful yet easy to use API endpoints, designed to deliver the essential capabilities that underpin SQR’s digital identity product.  These API endpoints act as a force multiplier complementing SQR’s existing and popular ID&V *Dashboard* service.

#### Onboarding Token

The **Onboarding Token** endpoint securely generates a unique *onboarding token* used to invite a data subject (end user) to establish a trusted connection with a customer (Relying Party) for the purpose of sharing digital identity data.
Only once the data subject (end user) has accepted the *onboarding token* and provided consent will a *Relying Party* be able to view an end user's digital identity data.

#### User Status

The **User Status** endpoint enables a relying party to query the status and relevant data of its connected, and importantly consented end users, allowing business processes to be integrated efficiently without the need for manual review.

The **Onboarding Token** and **User Status** endpoints are secured using OAuth 2.0.
An accompanying OAuth Token endpoint implements the client credentials grant type, allowing an authorised B2B relying party to authenticate and securely obtain short-lived access tokens for API requests.
